PIKEVILLE, KENTUCKY: Mark A. Gooch Vice Chairman, President and CEO of Community Trust Bancorp, Inc., is pleased to announce that Billie J. Dollins has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President, Central Region President effective January 3, 2023. Larry W. Jones will be retiring from Community Trust Bank on December 31, 2022 as the Central Region President. Jeffrey Koonce will be the Versailles Market President, a position currently held by Ms. Dollins.
Larry W. Jones
Larry Jones has more than 50 years of banking experience, including more than 20 years with Community Trust Bank. A graduate of Mississippi State University in Finance, Larry went on to earn an MBA from the same institution. He is also a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, the preeminent executive management school for the financial services industry.
Throughout his life, Larry has been an active community leader. He is the Past Chair for Bluegrass Tomorrow; Board Member for Commerce Lexington and Chair of Commerce Lexington’s Winner's Circle; Board Member of Lexington Urban League; Board Member of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky; Past Chairman, Ashland Alliance; and Past President, Ashland Main Street. Mr. Jones resides in Lexington, Kentucky.

Billie J. Dollins
Ms. Dollins’ responsibilities as Central Region President include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing client relationships by offering financial solutions to individuals and businesses in Central Kentucky and managing the 21 branch offices in the region. The Community Trust Bank Central Region is composed of Fayette, Franklin, Woodford, Scott, Mercer, Boyle, Clark, Madison and Montgomery counties. Her office is located at 100 East Vine Street in downtown Lexington, Kentucky.
Ms. Dollins has over 40 years’ experience in the banking industry, specifically, in the areas of retail banking, commercial lending, consumer lending, mortgage lending and Wealth Management. She currently serves as Market President overseeing Frankfort, Georgetown and Versailles for Community Trust Bank. She has served many civic and non-profit organizations over the years and currently serves on the board of the Frankfort Area Chamber of Commerce, Women Leading Kentucky’s Advisory Council and is a Rotarian.
Ms. Dollins is a graduate of ABA’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking, the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School Aresty Institute of Executive Education, Mid-West Trust School, Leadership Kentucky, Leadership Lexington and Leadership Frankfort. In 2018, Billie served as Chairperson for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women luncheon. Billie has served on numerous boards such as the Lexington Humane Society, Franklin County Humane Society, Living Arts & Science Center, Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Board President), American Cancer Society, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Operation Read, the Kentucky Women’s Leadership Network, the Lexington Dream Factory and the National Conference for Community Justice.

Jeffrey Koonce
Mr. Koonce’s responsibilities as Versailles Market President include providing consumer, residential, and commercial lending options to new and existing client relationships by offering financial solutions to individuals and businesses in the Kentucky counties of Franklin, Woodford, and Scott and managing the five branch offices in the market. His office is located at Community Trust Bank’s new Georgetown, Kentucky location at 315 Pleasant View Drive.
Jeff Koonce has been a consistent presence in Central Kentucky Banking for more than 36 years. He is a community banker who grew up in Central Kentucky, holding senior management roles in both community and regionally based banking organizations. Mr. Koonce currently serves on the boards of Commerce Lexington, Community Ventures Corporation, Bluegrass Care Navigators, Shriner’s Children’s Hospital Medical Center Corporate Council, and the American Heart Association. Mr. Koonce resides in Lexington, Kentucky.
